Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), are explored as they relate to the family system and the development of trauma. Relevant research has been collected on the topic and is provided within this writing, with emphasis on how these personality types tend to be attracted to each other, and how they impact their offspring.The writing concludes with various strategies for healing and moving forward in a healthy way after NPD and BPD related traumas occur, based on personal and professional experience.
