INSTALLATION: The Firefly 550 is Compatible/Replacement for Maglite Flashlights including the newer sytle with the narrow retaining rings (and bi-pin bulb adapter) because it comes with its own. Simply unthread the old bulb retaining ring, remove the bulb (if your light has the bi-pin adapter in it you can pull it out with needle nose pliers or press down on the metal part of the tower to eject it) and put the new LED bulb on in its place. Then replace the retaining ring with the supplied one.

On narrow focus the hot spot is tight and clear, at medium width it has a large spot with bright spill. ★NOTE★ On wide focus it will have a spot in the center "donut effect" similar to what the factory incandescent bulb in a Maglite does.
• INCREASED BRIGHTNESS+ LONG BATTERY LIFE: 12x brighter than a standard 45 lumen 3D incandescent Maglites, makes it easy to see a large area and a farther distance.
